Tinging a Tear

Have you ever tried to mix the ink of your pen

tear

into the tear fallen fresh

on your book?

Tinging a tear,

how surreal it sounds,

but try it comrade,

and you will love to see what happens.

How you can modify a bio-chemical reaction

of someone’s action outside your body

How the transparent salty product of your eyes

turns into teal, fuchsia or pitch black

How I wish I could colorize

my thoughts|actions|feelings in the same way

How if I could find a pen,

Whose ink could possess the power to affect me and

transform the work of a mortal.

ED SURPRISINGLE

He was the pied piper of our stepmotherland,
no one knew him and knows him still.reading_letter
But what would you call someone who didn’t wear his heart on his sleeve,
but offered it to everyone he passed by
unknowingly, unacknowledged,
he was blessed by souls worldwide.
He talked in manners lovers would,
but not with one, instead anyone who passed his sight.
With his beliefs he travelled the world,
and left little notes at every cycle, park bench,
every little spot which didn’t possess a postive vibe in his view,
And left that spot with something more.
A treasure of smiles and warmth for the random stranger
who came next.
He spread grins and twinkles like sunshine entering a dark room.
Little handwritten notes, full of positive one liners
or just words, but WORDS.
Enchanted, magical, he waved air with sparkle.

We’re The Ones We’ve Been Waiting For!

We’re the ones We’ve been Waiting for

-Avleen Kaur Lamba

Waiting for the buzzing alarm to wake you up in the morn,

Or expecting your mom to drag you out of your yawn?

Waiting for some energy to creep into you and take you on a morning walk,

Or secretly wishing some genie could find you and make you fly with the flock?

Waiting for the time when you could actually concentrate in class,

Or hoping to stumble on a guru who could make you meditate without a fast?

Waiting for someone to befriend you,

Respect you, admire you, love you only when you’re you?

Waiting and waiting for someone who could excite your mind,

Make you write poetry and not let go of your foregone passion behind?

Waiting for someone to stand up and answer that moron,

Who has nothing to spread but everything wrong?

Waiting for someone to make you finally change the world,

‘Cause you’ve come here for a purpose, not just play and work!

Then get up you, if you think and feel the same way,

As We’re The Ones We’ve Been Waiting For, Heroes of Today.

Aside

Ray Of Hope

When the world would sleep in the brightness of Sun,

When the world would hide behind the jobs they’ve never done,

When the world would get sick in spring with no ailment,

When the world listening to music would turn deaf to your qualms,

When the world in debate would become dumb to console you,

When the world travelling would be blind to see you in pain,

A helping hand from a power would arrive,

Would advise you to love yourself and strength to strive,

Never borrow but always his help he would lend,

God would become your lifelong friend.
